If you're a woman with a small business or thinking of starting one, you might be looking for some extra money to help your business grow. Good news: there are special grants out there just for women entrepreneurs!

These grants are like gifts—you don't have to pay them back. But keep in mind, they're not easy to get and you'll have to work hard to win them.

Here are some places where you can find these grants:

1.  Amber GrantEvery month, WomensNet hands out three $10,000 grants. One is for new businesses, another for businesses in categories that change each month (like skilled trade or health and fitness), and one for general small businesses. At the end of the year, monthly winners could get one of three big $25,000 grants.

2.  IFundWomen Universal Grant Database: This is a place that gathers grants and matches them with applicants. You fill out one form and they'll tell you when there's a grant that fits your business.

3.  HerRise Microgrant: The Yva Jourdan Foundation gives out $1,000 every month to a woman-owned business making less than $1 million.

4.  YippityDoo Big Idea Grant: Offers a $1,000 grant each month if you're a woman over 18 with a business idea or established business in the U.S. You also get a one-year membership to their business coaching group.
